April 11 — The Air Element

We all love fresh air! Air is key to body’s natural detoxification mechanisms. So is breathing in and out fully. Yet, many of us unconsciously hold our breath or breathe shallowly, especially when stressed out or rushed. Learn how exploring the Air Element can help you to give yourself sufficient space to relax and ease your digestion. Come to explore powerful techniques and rituals to activate your body’s nervous system responsible for the essential “Rest and Digest” capability.

April 18 — The Earth Element

We live on this Earth. And, yet, we do not always feel grounded. What, exactly, does it mean to feel “grounded,” physically and emotionally? This talk is both about finding your own ground to remain calm among everyday stressors and about the power of eating from the local soil. Come to learn about steps we can take every day to supply our bodies with the beneficial soil elements and enzymes needed for proper digestion and assimilation.

Let’s talk about “Digestive Fire!” During this talk, we wrap up the series and focus on the strategies to keep your “Digestive Fire” happily stoked, steady and strong. We take a closer look at fiber as one of the key nutrients to kindle the “Digestive Fire.” Learn how to bring the elements of happy digestion together by avoiding the common mistakes with including enough fiber into your diet.
